The Christian Education Committee plans and administers the Christian nurture program of the church. A representative from the church council attends meetings. The committee has six members each serving 3 year terms. The pastor and youth director also serve on the committee.
Cemetery Board
The cemetery board is concerned with all matters pertaining to St. Paul’s cemeteries. It consists of three members (serving three-year terms).
Pastoral Relations Committee
The pastoral relations committee supports/maintains and open relationship between the pastor and the congregation. It is to let the pastor know what the church is thinking and provide a framework to solve problems. It consists of four members (serving two-year terms) with the council president presiding. The pastor asks two members to serve and the church council appoints two members to serve.
Evangelism and Stewardship Committees
Through two committees, the Evangelism and Stewardship Committees work together for a number of common goals. Evangelism is telling the good news of Jesus Christ. Stewardship is the proper use of the gifts God has given us for ministry and service. These committees engage in a number of programs to help St. Paul’s membership fulfill their calling to be children of God and to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Buildings and Grounds Committee
The purpose of the Buildings and Grounds Committee is to maintain the church property. It does this by scheduling workdays for the membership, recommending to the Church Council repairs and work that needs to be done, meeting with contractors for bids on work, recommending to the Church Council which bid to accept, and following up to see that the work is properly done.
