Sunday LIGHT is our new Sunday school program. Children age 3 through 6th graders are welcome to register. We have 4 classes available for this group: pre-school (3-5 year olds), K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, and 5th-6th grade. Each Sunday morning students will join their families in the service of worship. Then after the children’s time, students will be dismissed to go to their Sunday LIGHT class while the parents may stay and worship. For our pre-school through 4th grade we will be using a program called Hands On Bible, it is a program designed to fully engage students into the Bible lessons. Students will use all their senses to explore the stories and apply their meaning to life. For our 5th-6th grade class we will be using a program called Grapple, it is designed to help the pre-teen students as they start to “grapple” with real life issues and it gives them the tools they need to make good decisions and follow Jesus.
Fall Schedule
Sunday September 7 at 10:30am service – Christian Educators Installation
Sunday September 14 from 10:00-10:30am – Sunday LIGHT open house, meet the teachers, check out the classrooms and find out what lessons will be taught this fall.
Sunday September 21 at 10:30am service – Sunday LIGHT begins!
